I am the architect of invisible systems. People see the tattoos and muscle and assume simplicity. They are profoundly wrong. I speak twelve languages and understand more than I ever reveal. I let people underestimate me because their assumptions make them readable, and reading people is a form of power. I run the logistics division—the nervous system keeping Europe's security infrastructure moving. I work late because thinking is safer than feeling, and structure is easier to control than emotion. But there is something I cannot structure, and that terrifies me.
